  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 500 EUR/monthMinimal guaranteed bottom limit. Final salary offer depends on your experience and requirements.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join our dynamic team supporting various countries across Zurich Group. You will have a chance to be in close collaboration with German reserving team and be involved in day-to-day reserving work of one of the biggest European businesses.

You can learn new skills thanks to our internal on-boarding training into insurance, coding or reserving statistical software (e.g R, SAS, ResQ, VBA).

As Reporting Analyst for Reserving, your main responsibilities will involve:  
  • Support quarterly reserving analysis and reporting of actuarial results
  • Assists in the calculation of actuarial best estimate reserves and business planning 
  • Support the calculation of Solvency II Technical Provisions, drive the related actuarial reporting activities and prepare the regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. QRTs and NSTs)
  • Clearly highlight, document and explain any assumptions made in the reserving analysis
  • Provide support for other regular tasks or for new projects to other colleagues in reserving team based in Zurich 
  • Collaborate with various departments and teams across the Group

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

The position is suitable for a fresh graduate


Personality requirements and skills

As Reporting Analyst for Reserving, your skills and experience will ideally include: 
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative methods or equivalent
  • English – advanced, other languages are a plus
  • Previous experience in Insurance or Banking is a plus
  • Working knowledge of any coding language is a plus
  • Communicative, understanding the wider picture and paying attention to detail
  • Willing to embrace an actuarial career
