Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Implementing Zurich’s Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory and Compliance Frameworks and running an efficient and effective governance function for Zurich’s Bratislava-based Competence Center in order to support the local leadership team.
- Frequent interactions with Group Risk, Compliance & Legal as well as with our local law firms are an essential part of the role as well.  
- Provide local leadership team and Zurich Group with information required to enable a 360 degree view of local risk landscape.
- Conducts risk assessments and investigations according to priorities assigned.
- Provide support for Regulatory Reporting, Risk Governance and Risk Reporting processes.
- Establish, enhance and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Support the implementation and reporting of required compliance training for all employees.
- Conduct the annual compliance planning to identify local priorities on risk-basis over up to 3 years, including sufficient monitoring and training activities.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders support prioritization. Report progress against plan and ensure approval in case of significant plan changes by Governance Committee.
- Coordinate all legal activities towards Group Legal and with our local law firms.
- Run the agenda of local leadership on a monthly basis.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

- Legal degree Effective Communications in English and Slovak
- Experience in a Risk or Compliance function would be a plus
- Communication across various levels
- Ability to deal with complexity Customer orientation
