Job description, responsibilities and duties
We reinforce our team in our department NPM Operations at our location in Trnava - support for Koblenz plant
Your tasks:
- Supporting the plant in purchasing activities (non-production materials) according to ZF Purchasing Group Directives, Policy and KPIs aligned with commodity strategy
- Analyzing the conditions of the market (developing and supervising the list of local bidders, cooperating, networking and assessing strategic suppliers)
- Identifying and leading cost reduction initiatives, optimizing local supplier base as well as analyze, challenge, and consolidate the stakeholder’s needs
- Communication with local management and x-functions in the plant
- Request for quotations (RFQ), select suppliers according to requisitions and negotiation on price and T&Cs, contracting and implementation

- Ability to work in a team and manage projects remotely, people-oriented mindset, independent and result oriented way of working as well as highly developed negotiation skills
- Fluency in German and English (oral and written), willingness to travel
