Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join our journey in Telematics!
We’re searching for a Product Owner within our Telematics business unit, focused on passenger and fleet vehicles for new features & functions of the hardware (device), telematics portal (SW) and mobile applications.



You’ll be challenging and innovating the status quo whilst understanding current constraints and operational requirements all the time building team spirit and fostering our company culture.

You Will:
- Define vision of the product linked to telematics for light commercial vehicles, its strategy, targets, market and priorities for backlog in line with business strategy
- Monitor developments in the field, competition and latest trends
- Be close to business and customers to gather their requirements and use data to define improvements to products
- Monitor scope and define product roadmap, priorities and timing of product across teams for on time delivery
- Lead the full scope of product management and the end to end product lifecycle
- Define, track and monitor key objectives and performance of the product and drive improvements
- Responsible for product budget, deliverables and P&L results
- Partner closely with other roles involved in the design of new functionalities within telematics products

You'll Need:
  • Strong understanding of fleet management, car leasing business, trucks area
  • Knowledge of car electronics - mounting points in the vehicle OBD, CAN bus etc.
  • Agile software development
  • Strong knowledge of technologies used in passenger cars and their trends
  • Ability to formulate development requirements in the form of user stories
  • Experience with telematics or fleet management systems
  • Knowledge of the agile process in SW or HW development
  • Financial basic know how like CAPEX, OPEX, P&L and business case
  • Fluent English
