Job description, responsibilities and duties

Would you like to learn more about maritime operations & awareness?
Do you want to know how surveillance and communication systems are operating on oil rigs?
Then join our 10-member Customer Support team and help us to provide service to our world-wide customers in Oil & Gas sector.

We are looking for proactive, structured, self-driven and collaborative personality. You will join a committed, knowledgeable, and positive team.

As a Vissim Customer Support L2 Engineer you will:

* Communicate and interact with customers, by phone or ticket system
* Investigate reported problems via our ticket system, collect logs and other files needed for further investigation
* Actively cooperation with the R&D department (communication of customer problems, requirements or functionality)
* Create and manage reports and technical documentation for projects
* Provide remote support to our service engineers during offshore installation/maintenance
* Install Vissim products to our customers world-wide, remotely or on premises (traveling will be required)
* Communicate with the customer IT, opening network ports, network testing, remote control
* Participate on 24/7 duties (active/passive service)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

IT, technical

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence


Experience in the position/sector

customer support, internal IT

Number of years of experience


The position is suitable for a fresh graduate


Personality requirements and skills

* At least 2 years of experience on similar position
* English language (min. B2 level written and spoken)
* Excellent communication skills
* Proactivity, problem solving and solution seeking attitude
* Willingness to learn

Knowledge of following is required:
* Microsoft Windows OS (Windows Server OS & Windows 10)
* Basic networking skills
* Basic Microsoft Office


Brief description of the company
