Product Engineer - SW & HW (R&D engineer)

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 500 EUR/month
  • Contract type: full-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

YOUR CHALLENGES:

* Activity planning/ scheduling, be able to prepare own activity schedule
* In charge of the robust design in line with the economical targets
* Applies standardization rules, exceptionally will request standardizations based on sound justifications
* Call for all necessary design reviews
* Make sure / coordinate that Design Reviews of other networks are happening in a timely manner (Purchase, Industrial)
* Interface with the customer for the R&D subjects of the project, break down and cascade internally customer requests and needs

Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting:

* Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment, investment
* Establish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones (Level 2 planning in the project)
* Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget

Management of the contributors:

* Daily management of all R&D contributors, dedicated or not - coordinate SW/ HW functions also help on EOL tester validation together with Industrial team
* Assign to them the work packages needed
* Regular review with his/her R&D manager or Product Manager and the Technical area department leader


LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

* University degree of Technical Science / Electro Technical Science with basic knowledge of SW/HW principles, SW programming is advantage
* Basic Knowledge of Mechatronics and SMT technology is advantage
* Experience of R&D development activity is advantage
* English language - communicative (B2 level)
* Leadership skills are welcome
* Time resolution oriented
* Know-how of EoL testing/product simulation
* Strong customer orientation
