About the role:
The role of a supply planner is to align our company’s efforts to meet the customer needs in an efficient and well thought out manner. With the demand plan as a guide, the supply planner reviews and monitors production and allocates inventory to distribution centers around the world. The supply planner monitors inventory positions and rebalances inventories as needed to ensure inventory is used in a timely manner.
You will need to effectively communicate with Demand Management, Customer Service, Production Planning, Marketing, Commercial and leadership teams to ensure balanced supply to meet end customer requirements.

Your key duties and responsibilities as a Supply Planner:
• Lead Supply S&OP meeting for assigned Business Unit
• Manage supply for assigned products to meet customer service objectives while achieving inventory targets
• Allocate product to market distribution centers based on available to ship notifications from manufacturing plants and raise purchase orders accordingly, replenish satellite DCs and rebalance inventory between warehouses as necessary
• Provide support to inter-company markets and Customer Service in obtaining expected availability dates and supply information for any backorders, low stock items, new business opportunities, tenders and new product launches
• Communicate reviews of potential back-order risks or risks of manufacturing overstock to the manufacturing plants
• Align on priorities with manufacturing plants and commercial teams when Supply is less then Demand
• Work closely with internal or external suppliers to support new product launches: obtain initial forecasts, arrange manufacture of launch quantities, and arrange for setup of master data
• Work as team member in supply chain related project teams
• Work with manufacturing plants and distribution centers to resolve shipping discrepancies, invoicing errors, and damage claims and correct master data as needed to prevent discrepancies in the future

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Operations highly preferred

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About you:
• 5+ years in Supply Chain in a highly regulated industry preferred
• Experience in effectively communicating to diverse groups or audience at multiple levels within an organization through various formats such as presentations, written proposals/reports/correspondence, leading meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc.
• Critical thinking skills/process thinking orientation
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority, build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels
• Proactive attitude and approach to problem solving – “can-do” mind-set
• Works independently on complex issues
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and prioritize
• Strong listening and influencing skills


Education / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Operations highly preferred
• Supply Chain certification is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills – Required
• Power BI experience – preferred
• SAP IBP – experience preferred
• Communicative level of English language
