About the role:
The purpose - CAD Data Lead define, manage the principles/applications of technical drawing and drawing management system. This role is the owner/champion of the ConvaTec PDM System (Product - Drawing/Data - Management) related Global Assets Management.

The scope – From Global Engineering role, is responsible to support all business units on Machine, Tooling, Building blueprints, Facilities (Pneumatic, HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical Distribution) System and Spare parts drawings creation, modification, update and administration on ConvaTec regulated systems.

This role has impact on all ConvaTec business units such as Ostomy Care, Advance Wound Care, Contingency Care and Infusion Care as part of Global Engineering Operations.

100% compliance with ConvaTec Quality system and Regulated Agencies like BSI, FDA, TÜV, OHSAS, ISO, Factory Mutual, etc. – Zero deviations.

Your key duties and responsibilities:
Ensuring that the integrity, legitimacy and accuracy of all technical Drawing created and submitted for use within All ConvaTec Business Units (OC, AWC, CCC, IC) related to Assets Management is maintained/updated
• Machine Drawing
• Compliance Drawing
o Cleanroom
o Pest control
o Process and Materials flows for Regulated Agencies (like Korea, Taiwan, etc.)

• Facilities Drawing
o Electrical Distribution (Unifiliar diagram)

o Security and Safety
- Security Cameras distribution
- Security Alarms
- Controlled doors / entrance

o Safety
- Water hoses and fire extinguishers location
- Evacuation Route
- Smoke Detector Distribution / Location
- Sprinkler system

• Lead and Support implementation of New PDM (Product Drawing-Data Management) System to fulfil the user and system requirements as a Global Engineering Project. After the system is fully implemented; this role will be the administrator for Drawings/Data related to Global Asset Management

• Execute design engineering by applying drafting, modeling, part definition and documentation techniques. Reviews the installation and detail drawings and ensures their compliance with the project given

• Responsible for maintaining and drawing database and ensuring that correct drawings and documentation is made available to the manufacturing department. Provides support to CAD tools and methodology applications and reviews and checks the quality of the CAD inputs. Create, Update and maintain the CAD user based on Data Management System:
o AutoCad – most recent version
o SolidWorks – most recent version
o Manage responsible for cost centers of CAD users (approvers/decision makers)
o Types of Drawing that will need to be stored and backed up
o All requirements for CAD workstation – Standardize all CAD users, template and format around the network (Uniform)

• Review, critique, and edit documentation including Qualification documents, SOPs, Work Instructions, Job Aids and User Guides

• Develop documentation for validations of manufacturing and business processes supporting a regulated industry

• Work closely with subject matter experts and technical staff, including engineers, tooling suppliers, machine manufacturers, to collect information

Personality requirements and skills

About you:
• Experience Developing & changing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Needs to have Theoretical knowledge of theory & practice of Operations Management, including methods, principals, and systems
• Competency in various computer-based software applications (i.e. SAP, MS Office, MS Project, Visio)
• Fully competent in oral and written communications and strong interpersonal skills (Multicultural)
• Ability to convey company policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
• Understanding of project management of new process / product development and launch
• Understanding of financial management as it relates to capital, expense and spending
• Needs to have a thorough understanding machinery design, construction, and operations
• Operating in a team environment, working on multiple projects and changing priorities
• Needs to have a thorough understanding of engineering project controls in a medical device setting
• Position may involve travel up to 15% of the time


Education / Qualifications:
• BS Engineering - Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Design
• More than 6 years’ experience in Engineering Drawings. Experience in a medical devices or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• More than 5 years’ experience working on engineering projects
• Expert on AutoCAD
• Expert SolidWork software / applications
• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
