Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for enthusiastic person with the strong theoretical background and MS SQL expertise, interested in OLTP and query optimisation.

Your responsibilities:
- Writing SQL query, tuning and optimisation
- Improve existing functionalities and create new one
- Keep code base across multiple data centres in sync
- Review, test and deploy code to various non-production environments
- Came up with new development methods and tools that simplify our day-to-day work, drive new ideas and approaches together with team
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from other departments
- Close collaboration with the DBA development team and involved teams

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Transact-SQL (T-SQL) - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

- Experiences in database development at least 2 years
- Very good knowledge of T-SQL with ability to write complex queries
- Understanding of relational databases
- Understanding of high-volume data tables and highly concurrent transactions
- Good spoken and written English
- Experience with issues tracking software, version control systems and CI/CD tools is nice to have
