Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for suitable candidates that will create a new team for our client: a leading IT service provider and consulting specialist for well-known, globally active customers.

Together with a team of experienced specialists, you will take over the support of Windows-based system landscapes of our customers. They take care of the installation, configuration, and administration of complex Microsoft infrastructures and support the 2nd level support. Thanks to your many years of experience, you are also able to carry out projects on your own responsibility.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Office 365 - Advanced
Client/server administration - Advanced
Microsoft SQL Server - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

What distinguishes you
• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a corresponding professional qualification
• An experience appropriate to the position in the IT environment, especially in the second level
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows Client/Server, SQL Server, Microsoft365)
• Preferably you have a valid Microsoft certification
• Knowledge of working with high availability concepts and technologies
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server Administration
• Good knowledge of MS AD, DHCP, GPO, DNS, IIS
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server
• Experience in virtualization (OS, desktop, app), backup & recovery as well as in the field of database integration processes
• Scripting in the DBA environment
• High service orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
• High degree of responsibility and analytical skills as well as commitment, team spirit, and commitment
• Good knowledge of German and English spoken and written
• Convincing communication skills and a confident appearance round off your profile
