Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Establish and develop Quality Engineering, Consulting, Auditing and Training service lines in Czech Republic and Slovakia with full P&L responsibility within TRIGO Continental Division
• Define strategic and operational targets with focus on optimal resource utilization and high value-added service delivery
• Develop engineering resource.
• Coordinate the different sales stages together with sales team for the development of QEC services in the country, respond to requests from clients and sales team
• Initiate client meetings
• Development of business offerings, particularly with regards to QEC activities – Auditing, Training, Consulting and complex Project Engineering - and create Technical (tailored solutions) and Commercial Offers; Identify new business opportunities by utilizing the market networking and develop new service elements;
• Identify client needs and propose tailored fit solutions;
• Build relationships with clients (OEMs and suppliers) and/or industrial ecosystem (e.g. institution, association);
• Provide QEC sales training to Sales team
• Identify clients’ expectation, develop Project Business Case with Scope of Activities
• Monitor and report on progress towards achievement of plans and strategies
•Direct reports to: QEC Continental Europe Director functionally and to CZ/SK Country Manager legally according to the matrix organization

Automotive Quality and Lean Manufacturing Technics

Personality requirements and skills

• Ten years (10+) experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, aerospace or heavy transport/off highway sector preferred)
• Five years (5+) experience in leadership position
• Experience in a variety of sectors/commodities and roles
• Good command of English, German is an advantage
• Engineering Degree, (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
• Willingness to travel
• Experienced in managing project development and production
• Expert knowledge in core quality tools, methodology and standards (such as: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA & SPC, …), Six sigma tools
• Strong knowledge of Management Systems in quality, health and safety, ISO standards and specific sector requirements (aerospace, automotive, etc.)
• Experience in first- and second-party auditing of various Management Systems and/or quality or technological processes
