Junior Payroll Accountant

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 100 - 1 300 EUR/monthfinal salary depends on qualification, experiences and motivation

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Key Responsibilities:

-Processing of all kinds of payroll services to the clients, data entry;
-Processing of monthly and annually statutory and management reports;
-Preparation of payroll administration in accordance with the current legislation;
-Correspondence and communication with clients, authorities and other institutions as necessary;
-Preparation of bases for annual tax reconciliation agenda;
-Maintaining complete and accurate records and files;
-Monitoring of the changes in legislative concerning the payroll agenda;
-Be proactive and use initiative to clarify issues;
-Preparation of monthly closing and reporting;
-Other activities according to superiors (Payroll Executive);
-Ensuring, that services will be delivered with high quality to the clients.

Key requirements:

- University degree or high school graduate (preferably in Finance/Economics);
- Communicative level  of Czech and English language (verbal & written);
- Experience in payroll or knowledge of Labour Law (No. 262/2006) is an advantage but not necessary;
- Good IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software;
- Ability to work with special payroll software;
- Attention to details and good organizational skills;
- Action / initiative oriented and very good customer skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Team – and - service orientation
- Flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic with the ability to priorities and work to tight deadlines

University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced

The position is suitable for a fresh graduate


Personality requirements and skills

- Experience with payroll would be big advantage, but not a must
- English knowledge is must have (B2)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel would be big advantage (pivot tables, complex functions - vlookup, hlookup etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, orientation to the detail
- Customer focused - Employee support
