Job description, responsibilities and duties
WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT
• Lead end to end sourcing activities on the regional (CE) level. This includes: identifying requirements, spend analysis, market research, commercial negotiations, contracting, implementation and change management
• Work proactively with suppliers and stakeholders to drive value and innovation
• Internal stakeholders management: This includes: supporting and challenging their purchasing requirements, long term planning
• Supplier base management: Develop a supply base to deliver business requirements, actively manage supplier base
• Buy products/services that meet Tesco legal, quality, ethics and design standards
• Ensure full step-by-step transparency of sourcing activities
