Job description, responsibilities and duties

Manage the supply chain planning operations within the production plant of Tate&Lyle Boleraz external warehouses and toll processing units to implement safe and effective delivery plans to “deliver to our promise” and to meet our customers needs in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

Manage and control the team in the following:
• Production planning of the plant output (Tate&Lyle Boleraz and TLSK) in cooperation with Group planning (to follow AOP, Tactical plans and stock levels defined)
• internal and external stocks follow up to ensure for customers sufficient call demand at all times
• external warehouses of Tate&Lyle Boleraz (audits, process management)
• managing teams to effectively use our resources, optimize the costs and margins (optimal ways of deliveries, extra costs minimizing, getting paid by customers where applicable etc.)
• cleaning stations of Tate&Lyle Boleraz (audits, process management)
• toll processing SC activities management
• distribution of finished goods to customers (transport companies regular meetings, communication, audits)
• SC administration (export documentation, service providers’ invoices)
• communication with the authorities and other legal issues SC related
• cooperation with Production on special projects, customer requirements, planned production stops
• service complaints management
• Quota management

Play an active role in
• Developing new supply chains
• Supporting Sales in developing new customers and approaches (new SKU creation and implementation support, special customer requirements review etc.)
• Supporting tendering process for new suppliers for all external to plant activities (close cooperation with Transport/Purchasing department and Quality)
