Join our exciting and new Technology Capability Center (TCC) in Bratislava, Slovakia. This specialized, innovative and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads based on agile ways of working.

Grow your data and digital skills, create and enhance solutions for patients around the globe, and help us create a data and digital-forward Takeda. This is a unique opportunity to become the heart of our internal innovation engine.

The Opportunity
As an Agile Coach you will coach teams in the Technical Capability Center (TCC) to become proactive and self-organized, empowered to deliver high quality products. You will be working with the Lean Agile Center of Excellence, drive Takeda’s transformation to an Agile/Lean product development organization by educating and supporting teams as they learn the principles of Scrum and Kanban.

• Responsible for coaching teams to build mature Agile teams.
• Provide on-going training and workshops for teams, such as user story writing, using Jira and boot camps for new teams.
• Facilitate quarterly planning activities such as Big Room Planning.
• Stand up appropriate CoP’s to support long-term people growth in their roles.
• Act an Agile evangelist/leader for the organization.
• Coordinate and communicate organizational challenges and impediments back to the OMT coaching co-hort.
• Reflect current shared Agile practices from the LACE to the members and teams in the TCC.
• Coach and mentor all members of the TCC, including Managers, Chapter Leads, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelors degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of Agile coaching experience within a Lean/Agile development environment.
• Demonstrable experience with of Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe methodologies.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to reach audiences of all levels of a large global organization.
• Experienced leading/facilitatin multi-day workshops and training modules.
• Experience building active communities of practice.
• Experience in using Jira or other Agile work management tools (Rally, Version1)
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others to move toward common goals.
• Flexible and adaptable; comfortable working with ambiguity.

• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Demonstrated knowledge or interest in digital technologies
• Understanding of latest digital trends and direction of digital innovation
