Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Senior IT Business Analyst, you'll elicitate business requirements, design processes, and ensure these are optimised and implemented into new digital solutions – while keeping automation in focus. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office.

About the team

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the Identity and Access Governance (IAG) team designs, implements, rolls out, and operates solutions for managing user identities and access rights across the Swiss Re IT landscape.

We're looking for a self-starter who is happy to challenge the status quo of existing processes – valuing their efficiency and effectiveness and developing solutions supporting them. Reducing manual workload by automating processes is deeply grounded in your DNA – and this is something you are pushing forward while maintaining a good balance between short and long-term goals.

In your role, you will:
-Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day
-Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
-Lead reviews of business processes and develop optimisation strategies
-Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise Identity and Access Management systems
-Understand the Identity and Access Management landscape at Swiss Re and collaborate with other teams in order for our squad to achieve its goals
-Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
-Perform requirements analysis, record and communicate them in an understandable way for the corresponding stakeholder groups
-Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
-Perform user acceptance testing
-Update, implement, and maintain procedures and documentation

Your qualifications
Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of business analysis inside cybersecurity, we'll be more than happy to meet you!

What we need from you:
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis
-A bachelor’s degree in business or related field, an MBA or comparable knowledge
-Profound analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
-Excellent documentation skills.
-Can-do attitude and able to push IAM topics forward as part of a team or independently
-Competency in the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other visualisation/documentation tools.
-Excellent oral and written skills in English

Nice-to-have:
-Diploma or certification in business analysis
-Past experience as a software developer
-Experience within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain
-Experience working in larger, multi-national environments
-Experience in formulating solid acceptance criteria for user stories together with the Product Owner
