  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 600 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. Job description, responsibilities and duties

As the Product Owner, you will work closely with the development squad and user representatives to drive the implementation of the Outwards Reinsurance Platform. You will manage the product backlog, ensuring the appropriate prioritisation of activities to maximise business value delivered.

You will collaborate with multiple groups and be at the forefront of the product implementation, including:

• Key contact point with external provider through discovery phase and subsequent implementation of platform
• Integration of platform into existing landscape, coordinating development of custom interfaces and/or functionality
• Direct, inform and prioritize the order of work to maximize value within constraints of resource, strategy and compliance with an entrepreneurial attitude
• Co-create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and high-level squad backlogs using iterative techniques with feedback loops
• Bring transparency of the backlog and align squad members with all partners
• To ensure voice of the customer is heard and focused on by squad and external vendors
• To liaise with process development and digital adoption teams to drive overall implementation success
• To ensure cooperation between squads and manage interdependencies and remove impediments and create an environment for people to excel
• To support the squad to deliver on budget, to clear scope, with clear guidance on timelines with clear acceptance criteria

Are you a self-starter with a keen interest in new technology and motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about using technology to address business challenges? Do you understand the reinsurance landscape with its potential diversities and challenges? Can you bring new digital solutions and business processes to life through creation of the right culture and demeanour? Are you data driven and very tech savvy having experience of agile working practices and understanding of the user journey?

• Degree in related field or relevant experience of corporate insurance, with extensive experience of outwards reinsurance
• Qualification as CSPO / PSPO or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge of agile working practices
• Experienced in understanding customer needs, can demonstrate expertise in Risk & Data, strong business & financial acumen & strategic demeanour
• Experienced communicator both written & verbal and strong partner management skills and able to influence in servant leadership style
