  • Place of work: Mlynske Nivy, Ružinov, Slovakia, Bratislava (Job with occasional home office)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 600 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the Role & Team

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a stable team of Slovakia facilities services. You will report directly to the Head of Facility Management EMEA and will have both: (I) managerial responsibility for leading a team and (II) operational and financial accountability for more than 22 thousand plus square meter total building space.

Main responsibilities:

• Be an engaging, highly visible, and personable team leader, and oversee and be accountable for all aspects of facilities management and operational (including all related budgets).
• Be an energetic and engaging leader with high level of personal integrity and business ethics, who is excited to work in a fast paced, ever changing, dynamic business.
• Help foster and maintain Swiss Re culture.
• Be a trusted partner for internal partners & clients and maintain key relationships with external vendors.
• Exhibit overall understanding of real-estate planning & transitions, project management and facilities operations.
Leverage data and new technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in operational performance, site resiliency, sustainability, and overall workplace experience, while also seeking financial efficiencies throughout the local portfolio.

Personality requirements and skills

About you

• 8+ years of facilities operations management experience, including experience as a team lead (especially in structuring and scaling a team) and primary responsibility and accountability for sizeable operating budget.
• A demonstrated knowledge of construction project management, experience and understanding of relevant vendor contracts and building leases and negotiations.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, and customer relationship management experience.
• Ability to work effectively within deadlines in a fast paced, growing environment.
• Proficient in English (written & verbal)
