Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Senior Access Analyst, you'll be tasked with improving operational environment security and accelerating digital transformation by helping us modernise and expand our Cloud solutions. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

About the team

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Security Solutions is a team which designs, improves, develops and maintains security solutions and services, while keeping primary focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM). We're looking for an analytics expert who'll give us an edge in delivering outstanding user experience to our internal and external clients by introducing new and improving existing software solutions.

In your role, you will…

• Assess the severity of access management-related events or gaps across our digital space
• Prepare concepts and designs for innovative solutions in cooperation with other experts
• Propose future security service improvements to meet digital transformation demands
• Support the development of user-friendly customer-oriented solutions
• Maintain IAM standards and refine them to cover new requirements and evolving business needs

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Your qualifications

• What we need from you
o Three or more years working in the IT industry
o Academic degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field
o Solid knowledge of Identity & Access Management as a discipline
o Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, SQL, or similar platforms)
o Determination to delve into technical, conceptual, or architectural layers
o Ability to present complex topics to expert and non-technical audiences
o Customer-oriented attitude
o Excellent oral and written skills in English

• Nice-to-have
o Experience with security audits, penetration testing, or offensive security
o Cybersecurity certification
o Experience with cloud-based applications and cloud environments (Azure, Alibaba, AWS, etc.)
o Experience in software engineering
