Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our Employee Workplace team of Swiss Re is looking for an enthusiastic Microsoft 365 Engineer who is ready for exciting career. As an Email communication engineer, you will help our customers to provide a secure, reliable, and high performant communication and collaboration platform based on Microsoft cloud services. About the Role

We are seeking for a Microsoft 365 Engineer, to join our global Messaging Communication services squad which support the workplace digital transformation in Swiss Re.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Maintain and enhance the core messaging communication service, taking end-to-end support responsibility for its availability and performance
- Implement additional security measures using Microsoft Defender for Microsoft 365 in the email communication platform
- Implement new provisioning solution using Azure functions, Azure Logic Apps and Azure API Management
-Support migration of on-premises eDiscovery platform to Microsoft Office 365
-Design and implement Secure Mail Relay solution for internal and external applications
- Develop and Create dashboards and reporting for product & service insights
-Develop, deploy and maintain service automations, to improve delivery of efficiencies and improve service support for the customer

Personality requirements and skills

To be successful in the role, you need to have these technical skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge on Microsoft 365 Exchange Online services, Exchange 2016 servers, Exchange online protection, Defender of O365/ATP and Microsoft Phishing solutions
- Knowledge of Graph API, Azure Functions, Azure API management, Azure Logic Apps and Azure SQL
- Knowledge on Python, C#, Windows PowerShell scripting skills and proven automation deployments
- Knowledge on email service metrics, creating reporting and visualization in Power BI
- Knowledge on SMTP external email routing & security concepts, especially in maintaining email domain reputation and cloud-based application integrations
- Strong pro-active customer and stakeholder management, driving and taking responsibility for delivery of the service for customers

If you also have the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus:
- Background in Identify Access Management concepts (inc Azure AD) and User/Groups provisioning concepts
- Experience in e-Discovery and archive solutions / requirements would be advantageous
- Experience with application integration with Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud and other 3rd part platforms
- Experience in working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
