  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 1 600 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Successful candidate in the role of Payroll Administration Specialist:

- Processes the organization’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Co-ordinates preparation and review of payroll information for outsourced payroll provider
- Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Validates payroll inputs, processes employer paid benefits and performs vital checks & controls
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in payroll records
- Communicates with external payroll provider and authorities to resolve queries
- Provides payroll support regarding International Assignees agenda
- Advisees on non-standard working time changes, overtime, unpaid leave/sabbaticals, maternity leaves, flexible work arrangements and their impact on pay
- Supports employees in terms of payroll enquires when needed and honors confidentiality of their pay records
- Participates in local and global HR Projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

To succeed in this role, you will preferably have:

- Fluent in Slovak and English language
- Previous experience in payroll administration as well as understanding of related HR agenda
- Sound understanding and knowledge of the local labour law associated with pay activity
- Excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong MS Excel skills, working level of spoken and written English; SAP experience welcomed
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material, prioritise workload and manage time effectively
- Enthusiasm, good interpersonal skills and ability to support constructive working environment
- Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced working environment where change, resilience and flexibility is crucial
- Willingness to support the team and improve expertise of other colleagues where required
