  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 600 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We look for somebody who will:

- Lead, develop and mentor the HR Admin team with a focus on HR Admin services provided for Switzerland, Germany, and MEA countries
- Develop an environment where the employees are highly engaged, encouraged and feel valued
- Promote and live a culture of constant improvement listening to customer voice
- Act as mentor for team members and encourage them to find the alternatives and enthusiastically address challenges
- Be accountable for the operations and important metrics within the given scope to increase customer experience (both internal and external)
- Act as a change agent: handle the expectations and answer questions
- As a member of a leadership team contribute to strategic discussions and moving the organization further
- Drive initiatives and projects related to team, country portfolio or HR group
- Together, with a team deliver results in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment, next to crafting relationships with HR colleagues and key customers

About the Team

The mentioned team is one of the teams within the Global HR Solutions Centre based in Bratislava and consists of HR Administration Specialists and Associates. The team primarily supports HR Advisors, HR partners, line managers and new employees in Swiss Re EMEA locations.

The team takes ownership for onboarding and off boarding activities, handles various types of job changes, administer country related or global benefits for current employees.

Personality requirements and skills

You have built your career in an international company. The HR expertise throughout the EMEA region would put you at a distinct advantage but is not a necessity. If you do not have HR background, we are happy if you bring customer care environment experience instead!

Further we expect:

- Confirmed people management experience (3+ years)
- Demonstrable experience in leading initiatives and projects
- Experience in driving operational excellence and organizational change initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be curious and challenge the status quo
- Thrive on working with ambiguity and in a highly matrixed environment
- Be dedicated and results-oriented, have excellent analytical skills, work comfortably with diverse business leaders
- Demonstrate efficiencies in the use of technologies
- Proficient in English, German is a nice to have

Other activities/accountabilities

- Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor
- Provide cover for roles in other teams
- Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time
- Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required
