  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 500 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2500 EUR full time. Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of the Chief Security Office (CSO), you will work with various partners across the company to maintain and improve our security reporting capability. You will collect, process, visualise, understand and interpret security performance and risk indicators to provide data-based insights on both the operational and strategic level. Activities describing this role include:

- Identify and analyze together with different partners new, relevant and important (cyber-) security reporting metrics
- Integrate raw-data from various data sources into our Microsoft Azure based reporting infrastructure
- Design the reporting logic and meaningful visuals in cooperation with peers and requestors
- Continuously advance the reporting process by extending its features, improving efficiency and quality (i.e. quality assurance, automation)
- Build new reports, perform regular updates and maintain existing reports
- Propose and develop new ways and metrics to measure the efficiency of Swiss Re's cyber defence capabilities


ABOUT THE TEAM

The Chief Security Office function is the principal point for cyber and information security activities across Swiss Re. We have the role to supervise security governance, risk and compliance, define and advance the company's cyber security concepts as well as carry out the implementation of necessary security capabilities. The position is based in Bratislava, however, you will be cooperating with your colleagues and internal customers across the globe.

To be successful in this role you can demonstrate skills as follows:

- Ability to analyze and gather requirements as well as document technical solutions
- Experience with SQL, Power Query and DAX (query data, create calculations, etc.)
- Experience with visual reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with Python and/or other programming/scripting languages
- Knowhow of public cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and its components (e.g. Azure Synapse, SQL, Azure DevOps (CI/CD) is helpful
- Understand and solve technical challenges creatively
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
