  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 600 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the role

As a member of Enablement team within Global Sourcing, you will support strategy definition and decision taking by producing business insights. You will work with senior members of the team as well as with our business partners.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys developing new insights and who ensures its relevance and value in a very dynamic data analytics' environment. Your key responsibilities will include to
• Gather, evaluate and synthesize relevant information and data from a variety of sourcing resources and internal business partners to identify proper correlations and arrive at optimal data- driven solutions.
• Create on-demand structured analytic reports for our partners across divisions and countries.
• Produce high quality Sourcing performance analytics for senior management.
• Build and maintain high quality Analytical Solutions to support Data Insights Objective of the Organization
• Lead all aspects of data quality by addressing detected issues and maintain a Data Dictionary
• Provide strong advisory capabilities around analytics and reporting to global sourcing team members
• Ensure smooth collaboration between business requestors and other members of our team
• Take ownership of your own career, performance and development.

Personality requirements and skills

About You

Ideally, you have ten (10) years of experience in the insurance, re-insurance or financial services industry and have a knowledge of sourcing processes. Having IT and Project Management qualifications or similar professional qualification will add to your profile

Problem solving comes naturally to you. With your strong analytical skills and strong Business acuity, you consider multiple dimensions and perspectives before arriving at the most optimum solutions to the challenge at hand. You interpret and summarize the data in a way that is succinct and meaningful to others.

Your strong interpersonal skills (including a good command of English and ideally local country dialect), means that you act as a change agent who encourages others, coaches effectively and promotes collaboration. Self-aware, you have established trust through open, clear communication and empowered others through effective knowledge sharing.

We will encourage you to demonstrate behaviours focused on driving sustainable performance, challenging the status quo while bringing new insights as well as taking personal accountability.

Finally, you are an advanced user of MS Office applications. Experience in Tableau, PowerBI or programming/modelling applications would be a plus.
