Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the team
We are a passionate international team of Access Management experts who love to serve our clients around the globe. Our goal is to assure flawless access management experience for our clients so they could stay focused on their business. Therefore we strive for compliance and yet simplicity of our access management processes at all times. We run end-to-end access lifecycle for our internal and external employees as well as for Swiss Re customers.

About the Role
• You will work closely with IAM Engineering and Architecture team focusing on integration of new systems and solutions while supporting consolidation of the current IAM landscape.
• You will work closely with product owners on prioritizing daily tasks which will ensure timely delivery of changes, bug fixes and other improvements by using both Swiss Re and industry standards.
• Your activities will cover hands-on administration, implementation and configuration of the next generation IAM components.
• You will provide tier L2 / L3 support for incidents related to IAM tools / solutions.
• You will participate in technical meetings with developers and SMEs where you can directly influence our outcomes and advance our cause.
• You will manage IAM components in terms of version upgrades and patching, including communication (and perhaps delivering a training if needed).
• You will continuously improve IAM deployments and processes and keep the related technical documentation up-to-date.

• You will coordinate, plan and prioritize requests coming from Operations team related to Identity and Access Management.
• You will effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel in a multi-functional setting and handle a high-volume workload.
• You will become completely familiar with end-to-end IAM processes such as joiner, leaver, access management, authentication, authorization etc.
• You will have the opportunity to use internal statistical / analytical tools to identify new ways of improving efficiency, performance as well as business processes.
• You will develop and share best practices across IAM teams.
• You will compose reports on operational activities related to different IAM products / applications.
• You will actively contribute to the organization's strategy and operational objectives (e.g. automation, cloud adoption etc.)

Other activities/accountabilities:
• Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor
• Provide cover for roles in other teams
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time
• Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required
• Due to nature of the position, standby service as well as occasional work outside the office hours may be required

Personality requirements and skills

• We expect you have extraordinary understanding of Identity and Access Management technology solutions including but not limited to integrations, application deployments and operational management.
• We expect you have broad experience in supporting IAM technologies in large, complex environments.
• We would assume you have limited experience with Identity Management solutions, preferably SailPoint IIQ.
• We count on your deep understanding of federation protocols and security concepts.
• We prefer you have knowledge of relational databases, database schemas and data structures.
• We wish you had understanding of RESTful web services.
• We are looking for a person with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• We are seeking a teammate who is able to deliver high performance when working in a team but also when working on his / her own.
• We desire you possess program / project management skills, including the ability to create schedules, metrics, progress reports and presentations targeting audience at various organization levels.
• We demand from you validated IT work experience with a solid focus on customer-centricity.
• We are seeking a self-motivated person with superb communication skills who is able to drive stakeholder management with a decisive yet autonomous working style.
• We welcome your additional experience in consulting with business customers while driving innovative solutions where you seamlessly align processes with technology.
• We assume you are proficient in ITIL framework and/or similar methodology (certification is an advantage).
• We prefer experience with the management of third party providers including off-shore engagements.
• We suppose you are accustomed to working in a highly outsourced environment.
