Are you a highly motivated individual at the beginning of a professional career, with 3 to 5 years of working experience in Data Analytics within a complex organization (preferably insurance industry)?

If so, the following main tasks are waiting for you:
• Supporting impact analysis from a finance perspective, making necessary changes in Admin systems and helping with their implementation
• Actively participating in and supporting projects that impact Finance Corporate Solutions
• Providing expertise in systems interfaces on re/insurance finance sub-ledger and managing data analysis
• Supporting the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes and a few ad-hoc reports
• Building and maintaining relationships with our key stakeholders

About the Team

We are responsible for understanding the data structures in our insurance administration systems and how they transfer into the re/insurance finance sub ledger.
Providing support for system changes, testing and implementation of new systems or changes to existing systems is also in our scope.
We are involved in various process re-engineering initiatives to drive out efficiencies.
On a daily basis, there is a lot of contact and collaboration with various other finance functions (i.e. financial planning & analysis, consolidation and reporting, legal entity teams, claims, Finance IT and various Project teams) as well as other areas of the business, such as Operations.

About You

We are happy to provide further training and development opportunities while you meet a few expected criteria:
• University graduate with a primary or higher degree (or equivalent), with at least 3 years of working experience in Data Analytics
• Experience working in a complex organization - insurance industry preferred but not a must
• Finance literacy desired: Strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data
• Excellent analytical skills with holistic financial thinking and able to deliver high quality output to short deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with business partners on various seniority levels. Flexibility to interact in both a team environment as well as independently
• Able to perform tasks with a high degree of autonomy, while partnering closely with all relevant stakeholders
• Strong technology skills required
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Stress resilient, with the ability to work independently
