The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Your role will be to manage the day-to-day running of the finance function whilst working closely with our external accountants and assist the Financial Controller with preparing the management accounts. The role will be based in Bratislava.

The role will also include reviewing and improving current processes, implementing new departmental reports and leading/assisting on ad-hoc projects. This is a very varied role where you will be expected to be very hands on but also gain valuable experience working in an international company.

Your Responsibilities

- Responsible for running AP function on a day-to-day basis
- Performing credit control duties
- Assisting the Financial Controller with the completion of monthly and yearly financial close
- Assisting with year-end audit and preparation of Group accounts under IFRS
- Assist/lead in implementing departmental projects such as implementing new systems and processes
- Prepare monthly departmental reports for the various department heads tracking actual versus budget
- Coordinating external accountants and other related external parties including liaising between auditors and internal organization
