Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Buyer who will be responsible for all aspects of the Indirect Procurement purchasing process for our client, including RFx, Supplier Selection, Terms & Conditions Negotiation, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management.

The roles and responsibilities of the Sourcing Buyer will include:

• Responsible for running RFPs, RFQs, performing competitive evaluations and analysis,
benchmarking and negotiations with select suppliers. Guidance of Stakeholders on proper procurement process
• Leverage existing Supply Base and also make recommendations regarding new
opportunities to drive efficiencies and deliver cost savings to our client.
• Conduct risk assessments where needed to protect the interests and assets of the
• Work closely with client’s teams (stakeholders, requesters, finance, project teams) to understand business requirements, goals and objectives in order to efficiently support their business.
• Sourcing Buyer is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Track, publish and distribute weekly/monthly reports to Procurement management, predominantly category spend and cost savings.
• Schedule and coordinate Supplier performance review meetings
• Coordinate technical discussions between supplier and internal customers where necessary.
• Analyze processes, identify, prioritize, and drive continuous improvements
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and French - Advanced (C1)

• 1+ years experience as Procurement Buyer
• Advanced English skills – oral and written
• Advanced French skills – oral and written
• Very good communication skills – ability to build relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability-built trust and communicates with stakeholders and Customer side
• High proficiency with the use of MS office
