  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 400 EUR/monthplus quarterly bonus The final salary depends on the candidate's experience.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Manager with AUTOMOTIVE RETAIL experience, preferably with proven record from USED CAR operation on dealer level. She or he will be in close business communication with used car dealers and business partners in the "PREVERENEAUTO.SK" project .

- Will be mainly responsible for managing the inventory of used cars, their purchase and pricing, and the sale of used cars.
- Will be able to lead and develop the team with the aim to meet monthly targets.

1. Purchase and sale of cars:
- Looking for suitable purchasing channels for used cars
- Developing and managing the procurement process of used cars
- Actively participating in auctions - auction houses, in purchasing channels at home and abroad (electronic auctions and physical purchase of used cars)
- Developing and executing the strategy for re-marketing of lease vehicles as well as residual value setting, and all the activities around fleet operations (including reconditioning, risk management, and appraisals)
- Covering the operational leasing communication agenda in connection with used cars, including risk management and car evaluation
- Communicating and negotiating with the dealer abroad, organizing payments, logistic and transport of the car from abroad
- Checking the documentation, origin and car service history and ensuring detailed completion of sales documentation
- Managing profitability of the used car project "PREVERENEAUTO.SK". Determinating the selling price of the used cars to the business partners. Co-creating of the pricing process.
- Participating in the development of financial products
- Organizing wholesale sales of used cars to an authorized network

2. Building relationships with Partners:
- Communicating intensively with used car dealers in order to meet sales goals, gain market feedback and end customer preferences
- Managing sales of used cars with the existing network and future partners
- Taking care and monitoring sales (contact with B2B customers even after the end of the purchase)
- Independently and actively building relationships with various partners (brokers, leasing companies, wholesalers)
- Acquiring new customers

3. Reporting and processes
- Regular reporting of the Used Car Project status to company management
- Streamlining and developing internal processes related to used car project
- Monitoring of competition and development in the sales and supply market

Experience in the position/sector

5 years of experience with managing used car sales

Personality requirements and skills

• Automotive retail experience is a must.
• Candidate should have a proven record from UC operation on dealer level.
• Experience in managing the sale of used cars (B2B or B2C).
• Strong orientation to sales and goal achievement.
• English at a communicative level is essential on a daily basis.
• Experience and ability to lead and motivate the team.
• High level of independence, ownership and responsibility.
• Good communication skills with business partners.
• Willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of the international used car market.
• Time management.
• Pleasant behaviour.
