Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
• Your way leads you into the central global purchasing department of our business unit for railway infrastructure.
• You will work as global commodity managers for Container Modules, E-House, Compact Station, and you responsible for the global material field strategy.
• You will work holistically from the request for quotation to the total cost analysis with cross functional and technical partners in various departments.
• You will work in an international team setup with colleagues in various countries and with a diverse background
• You will work on contract negotiation on global scale
• You will work on supplier development and evaluation

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Commercial or engineering field (e.g., mechanics, civil or electrical engineering or equivalent)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Professional Competencies:
• You have a minimum 5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement
• You gained user knowledge of MS Office and SAP R3

Personality requirements:
• You have experience in cross functional teams and your business actions are structured and solution-oriented
• You have strong communication skills- fluent in English and German
• Interest in work in administration and purchasing in an international project environment
• Proactive, goal-oriented person with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Positive attitude, drive and motivation in targets delivery
