Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a new member for our well-established team of Chemical Assessors in Košice.
Chemical suppliers, textile manufacturers and brands along the entire production and supply chain benefit from the services and effective network we offer. Your role
As Chemical Assessor, you are responsible for assessment of chemical products used in textile and chemical industry. Chemical assessment is performed via unique rating system, developed by bluesign technologies, Switzerland.
As a Chemical Assessor, you will take ownership for:
• Support our customers in the assessment of Chemical Inventory Lists in the bluesign® database and assess chemical products.
• Reviewing data reliability after further training in chemical assessment.
• Working with physical-chemical data, chemical composition considering chemical reactions.
• Checking the product classification according to European Chemical Regulations
• Maintaining registration status of customers chemical products in own database.
• Cooperation and communication with other international departments.

Knowledge and experience in following fields are advantage:
• Classification & labeling of chemical products (GHS, CLP, REACH).
• Chemical product formulation or polymer synthesis.
• Toxicology and risk evaluation.
• 3 years of professional experience in relevant chemical industries.
Personal skills
• Conscientious and organized
• Team worker with proven ability to work independently
• Quick perception and analytical mindset
• Ability to train and transfer knowledge
• Active knowledge of English language is required.
• Good MS Office skills (esp. MS Excel)
