Job description, responsibilities and duties

PPC Insulators, one of the world's leading manufacturers of porcelain insulators for overhead line, substation and precipitator applications, is seeking a Navision/Business Central Specialist. Our extensive knowledge and production technology enables us to produce the best insulator designs up to 1200kV AC and 800kV DC system voltages.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Navision/Business Central Specialist are:

• Analyze the needs of the business and enhancing our existing Microsoft Business Central ERP in coordination with the business owners and group application management team
• Implement system improvements, new modules, upgrades collaborating and coordinating
activities between our internal global IT department and external partners
• Provide support on all software tools to employees including: Microsoft Office 365, PowerBI,
Business Central and others
• Build custom reports at PowerBi linked to Business Central and legacy information from previous ERP
• Develop routines or connect external sources App to Business Central
• Actively support the programing of PPC eCommerce platform (SANA eCommerce)
• Support IT hardware infrastructure when needed


• Previous proven track record and experience working with Navision and or Microsoft Business Central
• Experience with creation of PowerBI reports

Working time is optional over the course of the day, the duty is to work off 7.5 hours a day on average. It is necessary to work from 15:00 to 17:30 pm - direct contact with US. Routine Emails Check at 7 pm - In the case of urgent event, the problem needs to be solved instantly otherwise on the other day.

Educational Specialization

Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• College degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
• Experience working with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV and BC
• Sharp business process analitics skills and gap-fit analysis experience
• Excellent understanding of NAV and BC as a whole
• Must have a strong understanding of finances, purchase, logistics, sales and warehouse modules
• Desirable to have C/Cide, AL programming knowledge
• Experience in report design with RDLC layout is a big plus
• Experienced in PowerBI and other Office 365 tools such as SharePoint
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive and service-oriented
