Geometry Technician

MISSION:
• As a member of the Product engineering team, it is expected, the technician supports activities linked to geometry engineers or external (no project related) requests, performing dimensional measurements and analysis mainly focusing on 3D scanner but also by means of other conventional tools/devices or others if required.
• Preparation of the Geometry report and measurement synthesis.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• To perform measurements and report results with conclusions (physical reports creation).
• To provide support for problem analysis including preparation of measurement results and presentation to project team.
• To manage requests and contribute with the equipment booking management system.
• To distribute files and archive tests/measurement reports.
• To provide inputs for measurement activities cost offer to requesters.
• To evaluate measurement methodologies (to suggest improvement ideas if necessary).
• To participates on other measurements and analysis as a support for geometry engineering team (Gauge R&R, capabilities, trial measurements etc).
• To propose and to validate best working conditions with checking fixtures (Ergonomics studies).
• To plan, organize, make or sub-contract all measurements according to Metrology Requests,
• To provides measurement activities with laboratory equipment such as 3D scan, feeler gauge and caliper etc.
• To actively organize parts preparation for measurements with project teams.
• To respect rules & Safety instructions in the workplace and to help actively to describe safety & environment anomalies that may lead to risky situations or may cause accidents (near-miss accidents, material incidents or HSE alerts).
• To respect 5S procedures defined in the workplace.
