Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a Senior General Accountant you will be overall responsible for the accounting activities for the local production site in Trebišov (GL , AP, AR, bank, travel).
The activities are as follows:
• book keeping,
• invoicing,
• VAT and CIT tax returns,
• accruals calculation and booking,
• card payments reconciliation,
• balance sheet accounts reconciliation,
• complete monthly and annual closings,
• ad hoc financial analyses,
• budget preparations,
• preparation of management reporting and reporting for consolidation purposes,
• bank card management,
• ERP compliance,
• financial systems administration,
• support of the local management with ad hoc finance related tasks,
• preparation of accounting policies.
You´ll be directly responsible for all above activities.
You will be part of finance team made of 5 people. Our production site has 80 people in total.
You will be directly responsible for managing 2 accountants.
At the beginning, you will be heavily involved in the implementation of a new ERP software, ERP solution MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
You will be reporting to the local Finance Controller.
To join us in this role you will need:
• to be an enthusiastic, proactive person with solid experience of covering overall financial activities of a mid-sized company, ideally as part of an international group;
• to be comfortable with ERP systems and have a strong accounting background;
• fluency in Slovak and English, both written and spoken.
