Job description, responsibilities and duties

The role of the Therapy Area Lead for Oncology would be to manage and develop the overall performance of the business franchise/unit's product
portfolio, including the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies, goals and operational plans to maximize product awareness, and deliver sales
and profits within agreed budgets.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Management and leadership the sales team of KAMs to include thorough and well-coordinated input into brand
strategy and ensure close integration and tactical execution in the field.
• Development of close collaborative relationships with external customers as well as internal
customers to support medical and commercial activities.
• Responsibility for the budget and financial performance of the TA unit, ensure alignment to all
Ethics, Risk & Compliance policies and managing key processes.
• Accountability for the performance of the allocated team, striving to exceed agreement with sales and market share targets.
• Creation and execution of business plans to drive this achievement and is responsible for brands’ strategic and tactical planning in line with company strategy and standards.
• Identification and implementation of business-building opportunities to support volume and market share growth.
• Accountability for initiatives that secure sales and promote products; through effective leadership of the sales team.
• Keeping abreast of the latest scientific developments in the assigned therapeutic area; stay updated on product knowledge, market data, pricing intelligence, key accounts, etc.; keep informed Market Access Team, Medical Advisors and other cross-functional teams.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree
• Proficient Slovak and English
• Min. 5 years of experience in sales/marketing
• Experience from oncology (market knowledge and network)
• Marketing experience in Healthcare / Pharma business
• Successful launches and Pre-launch activities
• Leadership skills/ people management preferred
• Ability to understand changing dynamics of the Pharmaceutical industry
