Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have a new logistics project at Samsung SDS! It is a modern digital platform that does logistics in an intelligent and transparent way. From specifying transport requirements and instant quotation to real-time tracking of transport to transparent invoicing! For this project we are looking for its account manager with logistics experience for eastern Slovak region!
• Identification of expansion opportunities and acquisition of new customers searching for outsource of logistics services in the Slovak, Czech, Austrian market.
• Maintain the relationship with existing customers
• Secure face to face meetings with prospects/customers
• Support the negotiation of contractual elements with external business partners
• Prepare and check documents (contracts, invoices declarations, certificates, etc.)
• Prepare quotes for customers providing information on pricing in accordance with established pricing matrix and quality of services.
• Promote company services in logistics area and educating customers about our transportation solutions
• Handle sales claims (damages, losses), communication with insurance companies and agents
• Compile information and prepare accurate sales reports
• Manage and update client database
• Manage financial settlement of sales activity for P&L reports
• Keep updating corporate CRM
• Ad hoc tasks which are defined by direct manager
