Risk Management Specialist

  • Place of work: Karadžičova, Bratislava
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 1 250 EUR/monthfinal salary depends on candidate's experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract type: full-time, part-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our company is looking for a new colleague to join our local risk management team. His/her responsibilities will be such as:
- assistance with research for client acceptance purposes (includes independence status of a potential client, obtaining further information about the client from publicly available sources, etc.)
- addressing new independence/other Quality & Risk Management rules and updating engagement letter templates
- updating local Risk Management related policies and procedures - advising staff on risk management policies and procedures and ensure that restrictions are maintained for clients where there are potential conflicts of interest
- carry out engagement compliance reviews (checking that policies are being followed when providing services)
- preparation of training materials and providing trainings for staff on Risk Management (induction for new joiners and refresher training for current staff)
- preparation of regular Q & RM regional reportings and assistance with other Q & RM actions as required
- close cooperation & consultation with local and regional RM/Independence team

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- fluent English is a must
- Bachelor’s degree
- experience with risk management is appreciated but not required
- experienced user of MS Office
- good communication skills
- proactive and reliable personality
