Junior tester - suitable for fresh graduates (BA or remote)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our technology team is focused on projects for automatization and robotization of processes. We have our projects worldwide in various fields as financial institutions, healthcare, gaming etc. Our technology department has many divisions such as RPA, BPM (working with low codes platforms) and also AI. On the position of Junior QA specialist, as part of the team, you can be involved in any of the following areas.

Our aim in PwC is to grow and the team of testers is no exception. We are looking for young motivated individuals who are seeking the chance to start a career path in IT.

What is waiting for you?
- work in an agile environment, mostly scrum
- opportunity to know how agile QA (quality assurance) is done: functional sprint testing, test execution, test planning, test data preparation, test case design, test summary report etc.
- work with various testing tools (Jira, Xray, Jmeter, RobotFramework, Ready API)
- firstly manual testing and after gaining the skills also automated testing of the solutions
- possibility to understand whole “software life cycle” - from investigation, implementation to maintenance
- cooperation with team members, business analytics, developers, product owners etc.
- work on various projects with various technologies (for example low code platforms Appian and Pega, Blue prism and UI path etc.)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Testing - basic
Software testing - basic
Functional Testing - basic

Personality requirements and skills

- university degree in technical field
- strong communication skills - English language B2
- enthusiasm to learn new things
- familiar with testing principles
- strong analytical thinking
- experience with test Management tools - Jira (Zephyr, Xray) - nice to have
- ISTQB foundation level would be considered as an advantage
