We are a Swiss management consulting company with a global footprint and trusted partner to financial services providers, solving their biggest challenges and helping businesses evolve to capture the potential of the new economy.
Currently, we are looking for a highly competent SQL Database Developer to support the technology team to help with automation of deployment of insurance tools and their associated infrastructure. Our technology team is going through an exciting period of growth, and as the Senior Database Administrator, you will assist the IT development and infrastructure teams with building and maintaining their databases as well as design/testing of SQL data fix scripts for arising data issues, creation and maintenance of views, data investigation and reconciliation.
Your Tasks:
• Advise and assist development teams with database modelling and design
• Partner with full stack development teams to create, manage and secure databases in AWS
• Develop solutions using cutting edge AWS database technologies
• Solve issues by designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions in SQL or other database programming languages
• Monitor system performance metrics to identify potential risks/issues
• Keep up to date on the latest technological developments and advise the wider team and organisation on these developments as necessary
• Work on indexing, replicating, and performing disaster recovery services across multiple AWS regions
• Keep up to date on the latest technological developments and advise the wider team and organisation on these developments as necessary
Experience Required:
Either of the following:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AWS database administrator
• Alternatively, administrator experience of alternative cloud-based platforms (and a willingness to adopt to AWS quickly)
