Job description, responsibilities and duties

- The SCCM Engineer will be a major contributor to the development and implementation of company`s digital workplace environment
- SCCM Engineer will be a key enabler of implementing and supporting company's Microsoft Stack with a focus on workplace components (Windows 10, Office 365, SCCM, etc.)
- As a senior role in the team, focus will be placed on taking the lead to implement new technologies, fully document these processes, and train staff for ongoing support.
- Responsibilities also include identifying opportunities for continual process improvement and streamlining workflow
- This position requires working independently in a team-based environment to meet prescribed goals and objectives

Personality requirements and skills

Proven experience (approx. 5 years) with the following products or technologies:
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Active Directory Group Policy Management
- Strong Windows PowerShell scripting skills and proven automation deployments
- Deploying and managing Windows 10
- Troubleshooting Windows clients
- Familiar with Application Packaging processes (no requirement to create packages, but must understand application packaging and configuration techniques)
- Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.x
- Windows client security knowledge i.e. Firewall, Antivirus, Disk Encryption
- Managing Windows client builds/images through System Center Configuration Manager
- Hardware device integration (managing device drivers and related software with System Center Configuration Manager)
