Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
- Perform closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with corporate and country legislation and guidance
- Preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
- Prepare internal and external audit schedules and respond to inquiries
- Prepare or review/approve monthly journal entries and reconciliations
- Initiate and/ or participate in continuous improvement projects
- Working closely with R2R/P2P/O2C teams, Group Reporting, Group Tax, Business Controllers, Business Partners to make sure end-to-end processes are adhered to and performed with right quality
- Guarantees 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation (e.g. statutory accounting standards, tax law, civil law) and internal group accounting guidelines in cooperation with local tax advisors
