Job description, responsibilities and duties
As an Account Manager Auto Parts CZ&SK, you will lead the business of the Auto Parts APAD division of the countries by managing the key accounts, which supply painted parts to the automotive OEM industry. In addition, the incumbent will be cooperating with technical support team, which manages daily activities in the customer plants, in a matrix function.
Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed Sales growth and profit as defined in year plan according to the strategy established by the European Director.
Collaborate with European or Global account management for APA customers to define and execute customer strategies
Responsible for all sales and commercial activities with external and internal customers incl. account planning, project and sales tracking (Forecast, Profit Plan, etc…)
Ensure customer intimacy and satisfaction / minimize claims
Manage and improve Working Capital and Consignment stock - KPI:
Inventory turns and Account receivables.
Regular review and actions to avoid payment overdue
Work with the European laboratories, manage project priorities and get support for your accounts
Keep close contact with supply chain managers/demand managers and other PPG personal involved in corresponding activities
Cooperate with a technical service team to support the performance of PPG products in customer plants
Coordinate the activities in local technical facility to ensure manageable product performance and analysis
Qualifications
Experience in selling or other customer facing work experience
Knowledge of OEM and supply industries and respective business practices
Confidence in dealing with customers, creating customer intimacy and having excellent communication skills
Good knowledge in technical subjects in the paint industry
Team player but self-motivated with the ability to work very much on own initiative
Fluent in English, Czech or Slovak, other languages of advantage
High willingness to travel (>50%)
