Job description, responsibilities and duties


 
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Leads the design, development, and implementation of the reward strategy for Plzensky Prazdroj, Czech, Slovakia, Germany and Austria.

Our reward programs directly support business performance through the attraction and retention of key talent and the development and reinforcement of our culture across the business. 

 
MAIN TASKS:
  • Leads team of 6 direct reports and approximately 30 indirect reports.
  • Designs and develops our Reward strategy, policies and processes to ensure that Prazdroj offers a competitive total reward package, and can attract and retain key talent.
  • Creates, plans, and controls the annual remuneration budget in close cooperation with the finance department, HR business partners and line managers.
  • Ensures we have accurate data which drives insights for the business and improves our decision making.
  • Part of the team that negotiates with Trade Unions in order to ensure fair working conditions.
  • Cooperates with other parts of the HR team to deliver projects which add value for the business, for example, diversity and inclusion.
  • Cooperates with the regional C&B department to align local and regional initiatives.
  • Cooperates with external benefit providers in the field of services provided, participation in negotiating the terms of cooperation.
  • Cooperates closely with managers from all departments across the company in order to achieve understanding and alignment on our CB policy.

 
REQUIREMENTS – MUST HAVE:
  • Senior level of Reward (Compensation and Benefits) expertise and experience in large companies – at least 10 years at managerial level
  • People management and development experience – at least 5 years
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical – able to identify insights from complex sets of data.
  • Inspiring leader who seeks new ways, wins and celebrates with the team
  • A proactive, organized, energetic individual
  • Strategic thinking as well as creativity - ability to see the big picture and propose new ideas

 
REQUIREMENTS – NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience managing Reward across more than one country – the role is focused on four countries within our cluster.
  • Experience of managing reward in businesses with manufacturing and operations employees
  • Experience with cafeteria systems
  • Experience working with Trade Unions
  • Success Factors user knowledge – Compensation and Variable Pay Modules
