  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 4 500 - 5 500 EUR/month+ Bonuses

Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our important, successful global B2B company, we are exclusive hiring the position of Lead Buying Manager CEE. You will become a valuable part of the local team and have the opportunity to self-realize in leading the team of regional buyers. Personality CZ & SK brings a unique career opportunity in FMCG:

- Responsibility for negotiation, strategic purchasing, new suppliers and product listing validation
- Inspire, lead and direct the regional buying team up to 10 people
- Plan and implement long-term development strategies for core product categories
- Setting up processes at the Buyers department, development of their operating plans, ensuring alignment of objectives
- Research and analyze data and market insights
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors
- Search for insights into consumer needs, Commercial focus, sales & margin
- Finding new ways of expanding product categories

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Experience in the position/sector

Buying, Trading, Purchasing or Procurement

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

- Motivated leader, experience in leading a high performing team
- 5Y+ experience from Buying, Trading, Purchasing or Procurement
- Strong data-oriented person, analytical and critical thinker with strong negotiation and communications skills
- FMCG segment skills are highly preferred
- English C1 level / Strong verbal and written communication is a must
- Previous experience from Product / Category Management is an advantage
- Collaborative and respectful team player with ability to make sound judgement, and build partnerships beyond own area of responsibility
