Procurement Specialist for a successful international company

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 000 - 2 400 EUR/month
  • Start date: ASAP/By agreement

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Responsibility for communication with suppliers, internal customers and other stakeholders
- Negotiation with suppliers to achieve competitive prices for purchased goods and services
- Contract management and claim management
- Supporting the procurement demand planning
- Evaluation of submitted offers in tenders
- Researching information on suppliers
- Evaluation of the financial, commercial and technical capabilities of potential suppliers
- Managing contract re-negotiations and prolongations actions
- Using control processes to manage risk in procurement and supply
- Identification and analysis of strategic optimization options
- Encouraging and managing innovation in the supply chain process
- Providing guidance to stakeholders and promoting the use of e-tendering tool
- Researching and analysing data on market changes

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Microsoft Word - Advanced
Microsoft Excel - Advanced

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

- University education in economics/business related or technical field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience with tenders, negotiations, contracting, purchase to pay
- Fluent knowledge of English and Slovak language
- Knowledge of MS Office, Procurement tools, SAP, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible, responsible, accurate
