  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 440 EUR/monthBasic salary comprises contractual tarif 1200€ gross plus a full-time night work incentive and may further be extended by weekend/bank holiday incentives, overtime, loyalty program incentive, positive review incentive, possible GM bonus for high performers etc. There is a possibility to work extra shifts, reflected in overtime incentives. For self-contractors (providing services at reception) the minimum wage to invoice is 11,50€/hour + weekend incentives + meal credit for each shift+ all above mentioned incentives. We expect the self-contractor to aim at full-time monthly hours.

We look for Mr Nightshine to help us out covering night shifts (22:00-6:00). While most guests are counting sheep, we need a brave and reliable man to count the day’s figures, host the night owls with a warm welcome, a happy smile and a positive colorful attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcomes customers to the hotel and responds to customer requests
• Integrates Supervisory admin duties during night shifts as the one responsible for the overall night hotel operations
• Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book each shift; updates log book for next shift
• Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys
• Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest’s name, address and method of payment
• Handles incoming guest room reservations
• Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability
• Increases hotel revenue by promoting food and beverage alternatives within the hotel
• Insures all guests establish credit upon check-in
• Monitors customer accounts to insure adherence to hotel credit limits
• Identifies and records special billing instructions and notifies accounting
• Completes shift closing accurately
• Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed
• Handles difficult situations effectively
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, and effectively assists the hotel’s guests
• Uses the ABC approach to respond to negative comments and complaints; and notifies Front Office Manager immediately for appropriate follow-up

• Fluency in the English language, any additional language is an advantage, the Slovak language is a must as well
• Previous work experience in a hotel environment
• Is fully conversant with property management systems, knowledge of Opera is a strong advantage !
• Is able to operate (or learn how to operate) switchboard, telefax, key equipment, credit card machines and printers, hotel alarm systems, and other Front Office equipment
• Willingness to work only in night shifts and lead/take responsibility for the night shift hotel operations
