Job description, responsibilities and duties

As an Account Associate you will have an opportunity to gain front line experience in a number of different aspects of sales such as: account request processing, solution up selling, problem identification, root cause analysis, problem resolution and relationship building. You will be handling the Quote to Order process for small to medium customer whole ensuring organic growth upselling activities across Network and Integrated Services domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage end to end Quote to Order process and Sales Operations while ensuring the performance is in line with customer expectations.
• Customer requests execution and day-to-day account activities to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
• Engage with customer to support Quote to Order process and act as an advisor to customer and account teams.
• Maximize profitability of the organic growth and drive Sales Operation process with various sales and non-sales departments within Orange Business Services (Customer Services and Operations, Billing, Finance, etc.).
• Support contract renewal, repricing and project preparation activities to ensure standard Quote to Bill model is executed.
• Align with account manager, CBU director, engagement manager and bid manager to decide how best to handle a Bid proposal in the parts related to Sales Operations.
• Responsible for commercial inventory management.
• Supporting the client in Service Delivery and Tracking Tool usage and regular reporting for clients.
• Own customer specific instructions and guidelines (price book, process, customer labeling, billing account number-usage, etc.) to ensure smooth process from Bid phase to order creation with support of senior sales operations team.
• Cooperate with Billing and Accounts Receivable department to resolve invoice queries, credit notes and customer non-payment issues.
• Proactively escalate pending actions (quotes, orders, billing issues, etc.) including KPI-management and initiate improvement projects to improve the Quote to Order process, aiming for Operational Excellence.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Sales or Account Associate or in Sales support field.
• Academic business degree or equivalent.
• Good understanding what influence invoice or payment issues can have on a company’s cash flow.
• Fluent level of English, any other European language would be considered plus.
• Clear and proactive internal and external customer communication.
• Able to deal with dual reporting lines and virtual teams.
• Ability to manage many tasks at the same time
• Keen on improvement projects and self-starter attitude.
• Excellent negotiation and delegation skills.
• Demonstrate responsibility and taking ownership.
• Able to work towards targets and deadlines.
