Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Sales Manager would be responsible for driving the sales operations plan and for achieving agreed sales and broader performance targets for their part of the organization/specific product area. They would develop an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial programs.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accountability for achieving own and the team’s agreed sales, productivity and performance targets.
• Creating and executing business plans, being responsible for brands’ strategic and tactical planning in line with company strategy and standards.
• Managing and optimizing the effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results. Sales and expense budget management.
• Leadership of a high-performing team of Medical Representatives / Product Specialists; hiring, training and developing them as necessary; providing coaching and feedback to the team.
• Managing relationships with key accounts’ decision makers, key opinion leaders, patient associations; and other colleagues across business functions to achieve desired results.
• Mastering product knowledge and disease area knowledge; and coaching the team on the same. Gathers and is updated on required information regarding the market, key competitors’ market data, pricing intelligence, key accounts etc.
• Ensuring Excellency in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Services.
• Operates within Novartis compliance, policies and procedures; and creates a culture that ensures all reports, direct and indirect, does the same.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• Proficient Slovak and English
• 5+ years experience in Sales including team management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience in Neurology or/and Oncology sales would be an advantage
