Service Delivery Manager for IT Archival Services

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Service delivery manager for IT Archival services you will be responsible for delivering Archival services to a medical technology company globally throughout the service lifecycle within the agreed service level. You will be the key interface between the vendor and internal stakeholders.

- Establish services and manage vendor performance - manage team and keep prioritization of the work current
- Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of suppliers’ operations teams to manage and maintain BAU service, the provision of the Archival service
- Oversee the general health of the live service required to meet business requirements,
- Ensure ongoing architectural integrity of the service throughout its lifecycle,
- Ensure that all IT Service Management processes, Service Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets,
- Be a driver of improvements in service delivery (increasing effectiveness and efficiency, removing unnecessary latency, driving automation of the routines)
- Share knowledge and advice internal stakeholders on new archival projects on the early stage,
- Manage licenses and security certificates
- Own and expand the knowledge by updating and publishing Knowledge base
- Ensure sufficient communication with IT Stakeholders

- Experience in IT delivery and Service management in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines,
- A good level understanding of the service application support, modern IT Infrastructure such as SaaS, Cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of ITIL disciplines (eg. Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
- Business and Customer focused
- Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services
- Solid communications skills to include use of the English language
- A strong sense of ownership and transparent acceptance of responsibility
- A positive team player who can work collaboratively across the company and time zones
- Able to work in a very result orientated business with multiple concurrent projects and quick times to delivery
