IT Operations Manager

Job description, responsibilities and duties
The role of IT Operations Leader will lead and be responsible for these IT domains:
Platform Engineering, Production Support (application support engineering), Incident&Problem Management, End User Support, Service Desk. Leading 35 people in total, while leading 8 people directly.
Key Mission & Projects:
- Supervise systems migration from on-premise infrastructure into Azure cloud, Cloudflare CDN&WAF.
- Architect the platform enabling each cross-functional team to follow "you build it-you run it" principle (deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, cost control on cross-functional team level).
- Enforce security and compliance best practices - policies, plans and execution for patching, disaster recovery, resilience test, business continuity plan, incident .
- Design and monitor operations performance metrics and SLAs and ensure continuous improvements.
- Ensuring efficient planning and utilisation of funds and organizational capacity.
